About me

Thereafter, Hagar used another name to refer to the Lord, who had spoken to her. She said, "You are the God who sees me." Genesis 16:13

I'm an amateur Christian, learning who God is, whilst trying to raise four young children.
This is my fairly average blog.  I write about faith and motherhood.  Oh and I'm a feminist. Obviously.

  1. Thank you for including your reading list. You mentioned the red mist, which often forms part of a conversation between my hubs and I. He found a book by Lisa Bevere very helpful. I've not read it...pity parties are more my problem than the red mist...Her book is called 'Be Angry But Don't Blow It! Maintaining Your Passion Without Losing Your Cool'.

    1. Hi Louise,
Thanks for taking the time to read. Thanks also for the suggestion; I've already ordered the book for my kindle, isn't the internet just grand?! Other people on Amazon spoke really highly of it too so we'll see. She's written a load of books actually, some of which might be helpful for the pity parties you mention. I too am prone to this I'm sorry to say.
Was also pleased to note you've posted on your blog. Pride is another one of those 'flaws' I'm trying to work on. Tonight your prayer shall be mine too. Thank you

  3. Thank you for that Louise. I will be sure to take a look. Made me smile that you're coming into Spring while we are facing Autumn. You are a long, long way from here!
    God bless,
